This release collects the highly acclaimed “Das Reich” single on the A-side and the “Angel Of Destruction” single on the B-side. Both 7”s were previously released in the U.S. by BACKWARDS MASKING RECORDS a few years ago. This has the same artwork as the originals but include some new photos and a lyric-sheet inside. One of the best punkbands ever to emerge from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Finally available here in Europe. The collected works (so far) of this K-Town punkrock-combo that gained a lot of attention worldwide lately. Musically this is wellwritten punkrock with deep roots in late 70’s american punk and various 60’s garagepunk bands, but all blended with a personal touch and with lyrics only in Danish. This is containing all 7”s, the split 7” and the 12” the band did in the period 2000-2006.

Wow! Rasmus from Young Wasteners takes his musical skills to new heights. This is pretty much a soloproject of his, recorded with the help of a few friends here and there, and the result is incredible. Taking his inspiration from various blues, jazz and postpunk bands, he manages to blend all this into one hell of a record. The music is very well written and performed and the vocals are delivered with nerve and intensity making this album to be one of the best to come out of Denmark for a long time.

This was originally intended to be an album, but during the recordingsession the band broke up and these songs were the only ones that survived. And thank god for that! Young Wasteners proves again on this record that they were one of the absolute best punk acts in Denmark. This is definately more diverse than the album, but it still comes across as being very intense and powerful. Indeed a worthy testament for a classic K-Town band.

When this band came to my attention they were all literally KIDS in the age of 14 or 15. But unlike most kids their age, they knew how to fucking rock, and this record is the proof of that. Damn fine hardcore-punk that was turning quite a few heads when they first hit the scene.
